ИкеТел brings together learning Tatar and contributing to speech technology. You can start with your first words, reconnect with the language of your childhood, or share your spoken Tatar through Voice.
Our purpose
So Tatar will be heard tomorrow, too.
We want Tatar to remain part of everyday life: at home, with friends, in education and in the digital world. For us, it is our native language and a culture to pass on to future generations. We build tools that make it easier to learn, speak and take part in the language’s future.
How we work towards it
Helping people learn
Short lessons offer a clear path from first words to conversation. You can learn at your own pace, try things, make mistakes and return to practice. We want learning to feel accessible and give people more reasons to use Tatar in their lives.
Collecting real speech
In Voice, participants record short Tatar phrases and send them for review. These recordings support the development of speech recognition and speech synthesis. Taking part is voluntary: each person decides whether to contribute and can read the terms before sending a recording.
